Classroom of the Elite : Season 3 is confirmed !

The Classroom of the Elite series captured the hearts of viewers from the first episodes thanks to a storyline mixing school life, action and enough mysteries to keep you in suspense. As we approach the end of season 2, it seems obvious that fans are wondering if there will be a sequel. There will therefore be no unnecessary suspense since the staff has confirmed that Classroom of the Elite will have a season 3 and that it is already in production. However, no details have been given on the release date but it is likely that it will arrive at the beginning of 2024.
Details on Classroom of the Elite season 3
Recall that the anime is centered on the Japanese high school Kōdo Ikusei. The latter offers an extraordinary educational path for students by granting them total freedom. At first glance, many students idealize the concept, but behind this idyllic image, it is the reign of the law of the strongest that ends up settling... The series tells the story of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, a mysterious student placed in class D where the worst students are concentrated. Then one day, the latter approaches Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida with whom he works ardently. He will discover that his intellectual abilities are superior to others and will end up deploying a Machiavellian plan to achieve his ends.
While the first season laid a great foundation for the anime series, season 2 received much more mixed reviews. Fans did indeed appreciate that the anime strayed too far from light novels. The screenwriter and directors, however, tried to reassure by promising that season 3 will be more exciting and faithful to the original story.
There is still little information about the plot of Classroom of the Elite season 3 but we are pretty sure that it will cover volumes 7, 8 and 9 of the novel. The number of episodes is still unknown but major changes are to be expected, starting with the partnership with Studio Lerche. Some directors from the first season will also be returning.
Who will be the characters of the third season?
In both the light novels and the anime, Classroom of the Elite features several characters with different personalities. The main character is a rather introverted sociopath. Kushida, on the other hand, conceals her psychopathic tendencies under a pleasant and friendly disposition.
The directors are still sparing with information but it seems obvious that the main protagonists will return in season 3. We can mention Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, Suzune Horikita, Kikyo Kushida, Airi Sakura, Kei Karuizawa, Yousuke Hirata, Rokusuke kôenji and Ken Sudi.
Currently, the makers have not given the release date of the third season of “Classroom of the Elite”. Nevertheless, it is likely that you will have to wait 14 months because that is the average production time. As soon as the new season is available, the episodes will certainly be released 24 hours after their broadcast in Japan on the Crunchyroll platform.
